Last week we shared details about our colours. This week we want to share details about shading and highlights:

You can also add pale shading in the same colour as your pages to most of the pagelets that make up your pages. You can do this to draw attention to them or simply to add colour to your pages. Choose the pagelets of most importance to you and shade them.
You can also choose to shade just your weekends, to separate them visually when you scan your week or month.

You can also highlight your events and activities in one of six highlight colours to make them more visible and categorize them. Highlight activities and events such as birthdays, paydays, garbage day, practice, or any other event or activity you don’t want to miss. Do you forget to pay credit card or utility bills? Did you forget your last anniversary? Highlights might help.
Choose from six highlight colours - Yellow, blue, green, pink, orange and violet.
